Chiefs, Yankees rained out Sunday

Game postponed until Monday

Sunday's game between the Syracuse Chiefs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at Alliance Bank Stadium was postponed due to rain. It will be played Monday as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:00. Both games will be seven innings and one ticket is valid for admission to both games.

Chiefs righty Yunesky Maya was scheduled to pitch against Yankees righty Adam Warren Sunday. Both will pitch in the first game tomorrow. Syracuse's Craig Stammen and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's D.J. Mitchell will start the second contest. Gates will open at 4:30 for the doubleheader.

Team Photo and Autograph Night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 16. The first 3,00 fans through the ballpark gates will receive a 2011 Chiefs team photo compliments of Hillside Children's Center. Syracuse players and coaches will sign autographs on the main concourse at 6:00pm when the gates open for the evening's game with the Gwinnett Braves.

The Community Nights scheduled for tonight have been rescheduled for Friday when the Chiefs take on the Braves at 7:00pm. Fans must redeem their tickets at the ticket office.

Fans who purchased tickets for today's game can redeemed their ticket for any of the remaining 2011 regular season home games. Season ticket holders should check the back of their ticket for the unused season ticket policy.
