Curve to Offer Military Free Admission for Wednesday's Game

In the Wake of Sunday Night's Events, Team to Say "Thank You" to All Military
May 2, 2011
CURVE, Pa. - Inspired by the bravery of the Navy Seals in Sunday night's mission in Pakistan and the impromptu patriotic rallies overnight, the Altoona Curve would like to thank all military members - active and retired - with free tickets to their game on Wednesday at Blair County Ballpark against the Akron Aeros.

"This is a proud moment in history for the United States in our fight against terrorism," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "We can't sufficiently express our gratitude for all that the men and women of the military do for us to protect our freedom. However, we would like to invite them out to the ballpark for the next three nights [Monday-Wednesday] to say 'thank you'."

Military members can display their military identification at any time at the Blair County Ballpark box office to receive free grandstand tickets. Wednesday night's game between the Curve and Aeros will begin at 6:30 p.m.
