Dunedin to host 2013 FSL All-Star Game

November 6, 2012
The Dunedin Blue Jays are proud to announce that Florida Auto Exchange Stadium will be the site of the 52nd Florida State League All-Star Game. This marks the first time since 2002 that the game will be played in Dunedin.

Fans of all ages can get the weekend started early, as festivities begin throughout downtown Dunedin on Friday evening. On Saturday, June 15th, fans are in for a treat as some of the biggest sluggers in Minor League Baseball put their bats on display in the Home Run Derby contest, which begins at 5:35pm. Following the Home Run Derby will be the North vs. South All-Star Game, with the first pitch being thrown at 7:05pm.

A quick glance at any of the previous FSL All-Star rosters shows that the path to the Majors starts here. Justin Verlander, J.P. Arencibia, Jay Bruce, and Hanley Ramirez are just a few of the current Major League standouts who once played in the game.

Tickets go on sale February 27th, and can be purchased by contacting the Dunedin Blue Jays ticket office at 727-733-0429, or by visiting www.dunedinbluejays.com.
