Express' Profar continues to heat up

Jurickson Profar, MLB.com's top overall prospect, continued to get hot at Triple-A on Friday night, going 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two RBIs to lead Round Rock to a 7-4 win over Colorado Springs.

The Rangers shortstop is batting .350 over his last 10 games, bringing his line to .264/.360/.386 in 36 games for the Express.

Rockies No. 16 prospect Corey Dickerson went 2-for-5 with a run scored out of the leadoff spot for the Sky Sox.

Kila Ka'aihue homered twice and drove in five runs to power Reno to a 9-4 triumph over Albuquerque.

D-backs No. 6 prospect Chris Owings doubled, singled, drove in two runs and scored three times to raise his average to .346 for the Aces.

Tyler Skaggs, Arizona's top-ranked prospect, earned the win by holding the Isotopes to three runs on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings.

Shane Loux gave up an unearned run on two hits and a walk with four punchouts over six innings as Fresno topped New Orleans, 6-1.

Giants No. 20 prospect Juan Perez had his third straight multi-hit game and homered for the night in a row for the Grizzlies. He's hitting .301/.345/.526 in 40 games.

Brandon Cumpton allowed an unearned run on two hits and four walks while fanning seven over six innings as Indianapolis shut down Buffalo, 2-1.

Cumpton lowered his ERA to 2.83 over 41 1/3 innings for the Indians, who got a go-ahead RBI triple from Jerry Sands in the seventh.
