June 29, 2011
The Eastern League announced the 2011 Eastern League All-Stars Wednesday afternoon. The Harrisburg Senators have five representatives heading to New Hampshire on July 13 for the Eastern League All-Star Game. Pitchers Brad Peacock and Erik Arnesen were selected along with first baseman Tyler Moore, and outfielders Bill Rhinehart and Archie Gilbert.

Brad Peacock (8-2, 2.28) leads all of Double-A with 114 strikeouts on the season. He leads the league in wins and is second in ERA. On May 13 against the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Peacock struck out a season and career high 14 batters. He was recently named to the 2011 XM Futures Game in Arizona. Peacock has won EL Pitcher of the Week twice this season. The 23-year old was selected in the 41st round of the 2006 draft by the Washington Nationals.

Erik Arnesen (4-1, 2.22) has split time this season between AAA-Syracuse and Harrisburg. He has three wins in his last four appearances with the Senators. He began the season as a reliever, and transitioned to a starter while in Syracuse. In Arnesen's last five outings, he pitched 5.0 innings or better. Three of those starts were with Harrisburg. The 27-year old was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 17th round of the 2006 draft.

Tyler Moore leads the team with 14 homeruns, 20 doubles, and 44 RBIs. He is tied for the team-lead in runs (40), second in hits (75), and tied for second in triples (4). In mid-April, Moore had a 10-game hitting streak raising his average 163 points. He earned EL Player of the Week at the end of May. Entering the season, Baseball America ranked him as the 24th best prospect in the Nats system. The 24-year old was a 16th round selection in the 2008 draft by the Washington Nationals.

Bill Rhinehart is second on the team in homeruns (12) and RBIs (33). In a seven game span, from May 3-10, Rhinehart had five homeruns including two in one game on May 10. The next day, Rhinehart became the first Senators' position player of the season to take the mound and pitched a scoreless inning of relief. The 26-year old was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 11th round of the 2007 draft.

Archie Gilbert is second on the team in runs (38), tied for third in hits (61), and is fourth in homeruns (9) and RBIs (25). He has had two four-hit games this season. At the beginning of May, Gilbert was named EL Player of the Week. In a 10-game span, from May 29-June 7, he contributed 15 hits, including a seven-game hitting streak. He also hit two home runs in back-to-back games against the Reading Phillies on 5/7 and 5/8. The 27-year old was signed by the Washington Nationals this past season as a free agent.

The 2011 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game will take place at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire, home of the New Hampshire FisherCats.
