Come see 'Yogi Bear' for free this Friday
July 25, 2011
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers may be on the road, but their home is still the place for family fun on Friday, July 29. In conjunction with Time Warner Cable and 95.9 KISS-FM, the Timber Rattlers are pleased to present a free showing of Yogi Bear for Flix Night at Time Warner Cable Field.

The 2010 movie about a "Smarter than the average bear" will be shown on the Time Warner Cable Field HD Video board. Yogi Bear features the voicework of Dan Aykroyd as Yogi and Justin Timberlake as Boo Boo.

The gates to the ballpark will open at 7:00 p.m. with the movie set to begin at 8:30 p.m. Leading up to the movie, there will be plenty of fun activities for families with inflatable games, prizes and a fire truck for kids to explore. Time Warner Cable's interactive Digital Express will be on hand for families to see HDTV, experience high speed data and spin the prize wheel. Time Warner Cable will also be engaging adults and kids in the Connect a Million Minds tech-play area.

Connect a Million Minds (CAMM) is the company's community outreach initiative focused on building awareness on the importance of engaging youth in fun STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities. Time Warner Cable employees will be educating adults on the CAMM website, which serves as a resource in local STEM activities at www.connectamillionminds.com. Launched in November 2009 by Time Warner Cable, CAMM is a five-year, $100 million cash and in-kind philanthropic initiative to address America's declining proficiency in STEM education.

Admission to the ballpark is free, however no carry-ins will be allowed. Concession stands will be open throughout the night and seating in the main stadium bowl will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
