The Eugene Emeralds Baseball Club, Northwest League affiliate of the San Diego Padres, have announced their continued partnership with Fred Meyer heading into the 2013 season. The agreement ensures Fred Meyer Fridays will remain on the Emeralds promotional schedule. Starting in 2012, fans that stopped by any of the three local Fred Meyer locations received vouchers good for discounted tickets to Friday home games. In 2013, Fred Meyer will be giving out 500 FREE tickets to each of the six Friday home games.
On the Monday prior to each Friday home game, vouchers will be made available at the Fred Meyer Customer Service desk. After fans pick up one of the 500 available vouchers they can redeem them at the PK Park box office for the best available box seat. "We are thrilled to partner with the Eugene Emeralds to bring our Customers a more affordable way to enjoy the town's entertainment staple!" said Amanda Ip, Fred Meyer Special Projects Coordinator.
Fred Meyer will also be featured during the radio broadcasts on ESPN 95.3 the Score and in the "Play Ball!" game program as part of the partnership. "Fred Meyer is a great Northwest company and one of our longest standing corporate partners," said Emeralds General Manger Allan Benavides. "We are excited to be working with them again and looking forward to offering our fans such a great discount on Fridays."
