Friends/Media helping Thunder

February 9, 2012
The buzz in the area has been about Thunder, but they are not talking about the weather.

Our very own Storm mascot, Thunder is all over area newspapers and was even interviewed by ABC7 in Los Angeles about a recent burglary at Storm Stadium.

SWRNN.com, Press-Enterprise, and The Californian newspaper all released articles that Thunder and the Storm staff had found the quad Thunder rides into the stadium during games had been stolen.

Later that day Thunder released a statement on his Facebook page asking the culprit to return the quad and his Facebook friends responded. Many people commented and also shared or liked the statement by Thunder in order to get the word out.

With the help of friends, the media, and local police Thunder hopes to have his quad back before April 4 when the San Diego Padres and the Kansas City Royals will play a game at Storm Stadium.

The Storm has also released a reward for anyone who finds and returns the quad by offering two season tickets and throwing out the first pitch as well as four tickets to the Padres and Royals Major League exhibition game.

Anyone with information should contact the Storm at 951-245-4487.
