F.S.L. Announces All-Star Game Addition

Five Miracle players selected to league's mid-season showcase

Versatile Herrmann will appear with Bullock on Saturday

FORT MYERS, FL (June 10, 2010)- The Florida State League today announced the addition of Fort Myers Miracle catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann to the Florida State League All-Star Game. Hermann joins pitcher Billy Bullock in representing the Miracle, at the 49th Annual Mid-Season Classic on Saturday, June 12 at Space Coast Stadium, home of the Brevard County Manatees.

Herrmann, in his first year with the Miracle, was selected by the Minnesota Twins out of the University of Miami in the 6th round of the June 2009 First-Year Player Draft. He is currently hitting .230 with one home run and 13 RBI, while playing both outfield and catching this season.

The Miracle, who hosted the All-Star Game last year, have seen 19 players selected in the last three years, including a record eight in 2009.

North All-Star Team members represent Brevard County, Daytona, Tampa, Dunedin, Clearwater and Lakeland. The South All-Star Team represents St. Lucie, Bradenton, Charlotte, Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Jupiter.

The umpires selected for the game are: Home Plate - Ben May, 1st Base - Marcus Pattillo, 2nd Base - Ian Fazio, 3rd Base - Brandon Henson.

The All-Star Players, Coaches and Umpires will be honored at events during the All-Star Weekend.
