Fans can listen on radio, Internet, smartphones, tablets
March 29, 2013

JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Jackson Generals and "TuneIn" Radio are proud to announce that they will be partnering again during the 2013 season. Generals fans can once again download the free "TuneIn" mobile app to hear all 140 Jackson Generals' radio broadcasts.

Generals' broadcasts will be available on all smartphone and tablet formats and on an increasing number of auto dashboards on the TuneIn app -- a total of more than 200 different connected mobile devices.

"It's exciting to partner with "TuneIn" Radio again this season," said Generals broadcaster Chris Harris. "This season fans will be able to listen to games online through the Generals website, on 96.5 ESPN, and again through "TuneIn" Radio on smartphones and tablets. If fans want to listen to the game, we have an option for them."

More than 40 million people listen to TuneIn programs monthly on more than 70,000 stations, and that will once again include Generals Baseball in 2013.

The Generals open the 2013 season next Thursday night in Jacksonville, Fla., against the Suns (Marlins) at 6:05 p.m. The home opener at The Ballpark in Jackson is April 10 against the Montgomery Biscuits (Rays).

Fans may continue to purchase the new 13-game pyro pack, featuring all of the Firework Shows in 2013 for only $75. Group and season ticket packages are also on sale at the Ticket Office, or by calling 988-5299.
