Gnats and Braves Game Postponed Due to Rain on Thursday

Savannah, GA - The Savannah Sand Gnats game versus the Rome Braves Thursday has been postponed due to heavy rain throughout the afternoon. Thursday's game has been re-scheduled for Saturday as part of a double-header; game one will begin at 5:00pm. There will be two seven inning games on Saturday. Gates will open at 4:30pm on Saturday.

The autograph session with Olympic Diver Brittany Viola has been re-scheduled for Friday evening from 6:15pm-6:45pm.

The Savannah Sand Gnats, the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets, is a professional minor league baseball team and a member of the South Atlantic League. Savannah plays its home games at Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah, GA, just minutes from downtown Savannah. Historic Grayson Stadium is situated within Savannah's Daffin Park, creating a unique atmosphere and a "Park within a Park" setting. The Sand Gnats are a part of the Savannah baseball tradition dating back to 1904.
