Go Green starts BayBears promotion schedule

The Mobile BayBears, in conjunction with ASM Recycling, are presenting three Go Green Nights during the 2010 season at Hank Aaron Stadium.

The first of the three will help kickoff the promotion schedule for the BayBears on Saturday, April 24. Other Go Green Nights are scheduled for Saturday, June 19 against the Tennessee Smokies and Thursday, Sept. 2 against the Chattanooga Lookouts.

The BayBears will also have an electronic recycle bin at Hank Aaron Stadium on April 24 for fans to bring in old cell phones, computer keyboards and other electronic devices. No computer monitors or television, please.

The Kids Eat Free promotion began last week and will continue during the 2010 season.

Any child to purchase a ticket to a Saturday home game this season at Hank Aaron Stadium, will get a voucher for a free hot dog and free Pepsi for that game.

The first BayBears Boy Scout Camp Out will take place Friday, April 30 following the BayBears game against Carolina. The second Boy Scout Camp Out will be on Friday, June 18 following the game against the Tennessee Smokies and the BayBears Girl Scout Camp Out will take place following the game against the Mississippi Braves on Saturday, May 29.

Also in the month of the May, the BayBears will hold a Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Saturday, May 15 to raise money to help continue research and there will also be a Hank Aaron replica bat giveaway to the first 1,000 through the gates.

And that's just the first month of the season!!!
