Logo, hat and uniform combinations
Today, the club introduced two logos, three uniforms and three hats which will be worn during the 2013 season.

The new Astros identity features a full star logo with a block letter 'G' in the middle of the star. The Astros home caps will feature this logo on a solid blue cap while the road caps will be solid orange. Meanwhile, batting practice caps will have the club's primary logo on a blue cap with an orange bill.

The Astros home uniforms will be white with blue lettering and orange piping. The road uniforms will feature an orange jersey with blue lettering and gray pants with blue piping. The club will also have a blue batting practice top with rainbow print down the side of the jersey.

Tex and Tess return as mascots
In addition to their new identity, the Astros revealed that Tennessee Tex and Tennessee Tess will be returning for the 2013 season. The sibling mascots will only be changing their wardrobe to match the club's new color scheme. The cowboy and cowgirl duo are recognizable figures among Astros fans in the Greeneville community. Tex became the Astros' first mascot during the club's inaugural season in 2004 and was joined by his sister, Tess, in 2006.
