Hagens Dominates As Rawhide Continue To Heat Up

Rawhide shutout 66ers 6-0, remain tied for first place

SAN BERNARDINO, CA - The Rawhide continue to heat up, as they beat the Inland Empire 66ers, 6-0 on Sunday night at San Manuel Stadium.

Rawhide starter, Bradin Hagens (W, 2-2) was nothing short of dominant. In his third start for the Rawhide, Hagens pitched 6.0 scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and two walks, striking out seven. Hagens is now 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA since moving to the rotation.

Patrick Schuster and Jeremy Erben contributed with a combined three scoreless innings of their own to shut down the 66ers for good.

The Rawhide offense gave Hagens the early lead courtesy of an RBI double from Yazy Arbelo as well as an RBI single from Garrett Weber. That would be all the scoring the Rawhide would require.

Raywilly Gomez, Mike Freeman, and Ender Inciarte all contributed a combined three RBI in the 7th and 8th innings to ensure the 6-0 victory.

The Rawhide will go for the series sweep on Monday night against the 66ers at 7:05 pm. They will have an off day on Tuesday before returning home to play Lancaster on Wednesday at 7 pm. The Rawhide will continue to try to stay hot, as they are winners of 12 of their past 16 games.
