Billy Hamilton (CIN No. 1): Batting for center fielder Chris Heisey in the eighth inning, Reds' top prospect Hamilton legged out a three-bagger and scored on following batter Devin Lohman's sacrifice fly. Hamilton, making his third appearance since being sidelined with a left hamstring strain on March 8, raised his average to .174 through 12 Cactus League outings. Monday's triple was his second of the spring. MLB.com's No. 11 prospect recorded his first in his return from injury against San Francisco on Saturday.

Christian Yelich, Miami's top hitting prospect, is expected to begin the season with Double-A Jacksonville, but he's not making it easy for the Marlins to send him down. The 21-year-old outfielder smacked his fifth home run of the spring -- and fourth in his last eight games -- in Miami's rain-shortened 6-2 win over the Twins. Through 19 Grapefruit League games, Yelich has posted a .359/.457/.795 line.

Braves 17, Phillies 10 Box »

It was an up-and-down day for prospect Darin Ruf in the Phillies' 17-10 loss to the Braves on Monday afternoon. With wind creating havoc for fielders, Justin Upton's first inning shot went off Ruf's glove and over the fence for the first of his two homers. Ruf bounced back with a pair of doubles and an RBI in five at-bats, but Atlanta's four long balls proved too much for the Phillies to overcome.
