Hollywood Hits Tour/Havin' A Ball Tour canceled by ESI Concerts, Inc.

June 23, 2011
Syracuse, NY-The Syracuse Chiefs have been informed by ESI Concerts, Inc. that both the Big Apple Circus Havin' A Ball Tour and Boston Pops with Kenny Loggins Hollywood Hits Tour scheduled to stop at Alliance Bank Stadium on July 13 and August 28 respectively have been canceled.

ESI Concerts, Inc., the promoter of each tour, released the following statement: "The Big Apple Circus, Boston Pops, and ESI Concerts are very disappointed to cancel the Havin' A Ball Tour and Hollywood Hits Tour with special guest Kenny Loggins. Ticket purchases, including service charges, will be fully refunded. This is a result of the current unfortunate economic climate, including corporate sponsorship that did not materialize. The Circus and Pops appreciate the fan support in these special communities and are eager to perform at minor league ballparks in the future."

"We respect the decision made by the promoter and talent to cancel these tours," said Chiefs general Manager John Simone. "We are very disappointed that these events won't be taking place this summer, especially because ticket sales in our market were the strongest of all the cities on the tours."

Ticket holders will receive a full refund of all ticket charges, including fees. Purchases made by credit card, including online purchases, will be automatically credited in approximately two weeks. Fans who paid cash for their tickets must bring their tickets to the Chiefs ticket office at Alliance Bank Stadium beginning Monday, June 27 for a refund.
