Indians add eight full-time staffers

Tribe augments front office in preparation for 2013 season

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians have added Hunter Brown, Nathan Butler, Anna Fraser, Chris Inderstrodt, Sarah McKinney, Adam Pintar, Chris Robinson and Sandra Johnson to their front office staff in preparation for the upcoming 2013 season.

Brown (community relations and promotions coordinator), Fraser (marketing manager), Inderstrodt (sponsorship sales account executive), Pintar (graphic designer) and Robinson (communications coordinator) all join the Indians' corporate sales and marketing department, while Butler will take on the role of ticket sales executive, McKinney will serve as an administrative assistant and Johnson will move into the role of full-time operations support.

Brown enters his third year in the International League after spending the previous two seasons in the Gwinnett Braves' community relations and marketing department. Originally from Spartanburg, S.C., Brown attended Georgia Southern University where he graduated with a degree in sports management.

Fraser, a native of Batesville, Ind., and graduate of Ball State University, has worked for the last four-and-a-half years as the director of promotions at Cumulus Media Indianapolis. Prior to her new position with the Indians, Fraser also spent three years as the promotion director at Radio One Indianapolis.

Inderstrodt begins his duties as a sponsorship sales account executive after working as a ticket sales executive in the Tribe's front office last season. Before joining the Indians, he also worked with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Colts and Indianapolis High School Athletics Association. Inderstrodt is originally from Fishers, Ind., and obtained his degree in sport administration from Ball State University.

Pintar, who hails from Williamsport, Ind., graduated From Indiana University, where he worked for three years as a media relations intern in the IU Athletics Department. He will begin his second stint with the Indians after serving as the marketing intern during the 2011 season. He has also spent time with Hirons & Company, the team's advertising agency of record.

Robinson spent last season in the communications department with the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Pacific Coast League, and will continue in the same capacity with the Indians. The Norcross, Ga., native graduated from North Carolina State University and is entering his fourth year working in sports, having spent previous seasons with the Carolina Mudcats baseball club and Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League.

Butler is a graduate of Indiana University and joins the full-time staff after working in his alma mater's Varsity Club for the previous four years. Originally from Richmond, Ind., he obtained his degree in sports marketing and management in 2011.

McKinney joins the Tribe as administrative assistant after obtaining a degree in sport management from Manchester College. McKinney is from Connersville, Ind., and has worked in a customer service role for each of the last six years.

Johnson, who has been with the Indians in the last four years as a seasonal employee, now joins the staff providing full-time operations support.
