Marlins prospect Kyle Jensen was 3-for-3 with two RBIs, two runs scored and fell a double shy of the cycle as the Desert Dogs ended a five-game losing streak. Josh Prince (Brewers) reached base five times and scored twice out of the leadoff spot while Jimmy Nelson, the Brewers' No. 9 prospect, earned the win after allowing two hits over 3 2/3 innings. Rangers prospect Ben Rowen, who won the MiLBY as theMinor Leagues' best reliever, allowed two hits over two shutout innings for the Saguaros. Fellow Rangers farmhand Justin Marks improved to 4-0 after allowing a run on four hits over four frames and Bryce Brentz, Boston's No. 4 prospect, was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Cubs' No. 6 prospect Matt Szczur was 3-for-5 with a homer and two RBIs in the loss for the Solar Sox. Twins prospect Nate Roberts had four hits and scored a run while Matt Stites (Padres) earned the win with 1 2/3 hitless innings of relief for the Javelinas.
