JetHawks return on Newstalk 1380

All 140 games to be broadcast by play-by-play voice Schwartz

LANCASTER, Calif. -- The JetHawks and High Desert Broadcasting have renewed their partnership to keep Newstalk 1380 KOSS the radio home of the defending California League champions. Play-by-play broadcaster Jason Schwartz will return to the booth for his second season to call all the action on the AM station. A live stream of each broadcast will also be available online and on mobile devices via jethawks.com.

Each broadcast will include The JetHawks Pre and Post Game Shows presented by the University of Antelope Valley. The UAV Pregame Show will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled first pitch and include a preview of the day's game, a check of the Cal League standings and interviews. The UAV Post Game Show will feature a recap of the completed game and updates of the California League and Major League Baseball scoreboards.

Schwartz, 24, will serve as host of the Pre- and Post-Game Shows along with providing the play-by-play for all regular season and postseason games. The Los Angeles native returns to Lancaster after recently finishing his third season calling games for the University of Southern California Women's Basketball team. The 2013 season will be his fifth year as a broadcaster in professional baseball.

The JetHawks will make their 2013 debut on Newstalk 1380 on Friday, April 5. Opening night (Thursday, April 4) and certain games throughout the season may be subject to blackout due to scheduling conflicts. All blacked out games can be heard online.
