His team didn't win, but Double-A Biloxi's Johnny Davis grabbed some headlines anyway.The center fielder made a highlight-reel grab in the top of the seventh inning Thursday night to rob Alex Blandino of a home run, but Pensacola came away with a 4-1 win at MGM Park.

The center fielder made a highlight-reel grab in the top of the seventh inning Thursday night to rob Alex Blandino of a home run, but Pensacola came away with a 4-1 win at MGM Park.

Blandino powered a 2-2 pitch from southpaw Nick Ramirez to the fence in right-center field. Davis raced from center to the wall and hauled the ball back in.
A 22nd-round pick of the Brewers in 2013, Davis is back in Biloxi after spending 69 games there last year in his first Double-A stint. Between Class A Advanced Brevard County and Biloxi last season, Davis logged a slash line of .278/.353/.336 and saw action in left and center.
This year, he's been the Shuckers' primary center fielder with starts ther in six of his seven games.
