LEGENDS SET TO UNVEIL NEW LOGO, COLORS & UNIFORMS AT THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE TONIGHT!

WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK (Lexington, KY) - The Lexington Legends Big L will be among those descending from the 410-foot-tall Lexington Financial Center tonight. The event, called "Brave the Blue" in reference to the blue building, is a fundraiser for the Bluegrass Council, Boy Scouts of America. Each participant, including Big L, raised at least $1,000 for the Boy Scouts. More than 11,000 young people are involved in scouting in the 55 counties served by the Bluegrass Council.

Big L's attire for his rappelling adventure will help bring in a new era of Legends baseball. He'll be wearing one of the Legends new uniforms for 2013, complete with new logos and colors. The Legends recently became an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and will have an all-new roster for 2013 made up of players under contract to Kansas City.

The Legends will have a display near the Fifth Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park, 251 W. Main Street, during the 'Thursday Night Live' event. The Legends will officially unveil their new logos, colors and three styles of uniforms that will be worn by players during the 2013 season. Fans may pick up FREE t-shirts bearing the new home uniform style, as well as FREE Big L-style mustaches.

The Legends will be selling their new Official On-Field New Era hats along with select new branded merchandise. Friday morning, the Legends will have merchandise available online at the Legends Online Gift Shop with new items available. We are also proud to announce that select merchandise will be available at the Fayette Mall Wildcat Wearhouse location on Nicholasville Road in Lexington.

The new merchandise will also be available at the Legends Locker Gift Shop inside Whitaker Bank Ballpark daily from 9am -5pm, where you will not only find the new Official On-Field New Era hats, but you can find the collector items featuring the previous branded logos by your Legends from 2001-2012 seasons.

Featured in the collector items are the game-worn official on-field Legends jerseys from the 2012 season. Be the first to grab these sure-fire throwback jerseys before they are gone! We have a variety of throwback jerseys for sale including special occasion jerseys.

The Legends have full and half season ticket, mini-plans and nightly rental suites now available for the 2013 season. The Legends will usher in their new era on Monday night, April 8, 2013 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark against defending South Atlantic League champions, Asheville Tourists, affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. First pitch will be at 7:05pm and the game will feature a post game Ford Firework Show!
