Children invited to Dow Diamond October 24
October 10, 2012

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons, Lou E. Loon, and MidMichigan Health are inviting kids from around the Great Lakes Bay Region to take part in the free Fit Club Halloween Party at Dow Diamond on Wednesday, October 24.

The Fit Club event, which is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 8, will transform the ballpark into a kid-friendly haunted mansion full of fun games like pumpkin bowling, carnival balloon pop and monster mash revolution. Kids will participate in activities like mask making, a game of Simon Says led by Lou E. Loon and entertainment from Calypso the Psychic and Dr. Slime.

In addition, the night will feature a guessing station where kids will hope to identify the contents within mysterious boxes. Upon completing each station in Dow Diamond's heated concourse, the kids will receive a special goodie bag.

Kids attending are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes.

Lou E's Fit Club is a kids club turned "fit" club designed in cooperation with MidMichigan Health to provide children of the Great Lakes Bay Region with the information, resources and tools necessary to become more active and physically fit.

Kids can sign up for free to be a Fit Club member at the event or on Lou E's webpage on Loons.com. Members can purchase Lou E's Activity Watch for $15 at the event or by visiting Dow Diamond during normal business hours.
