Marisnick racks up extra-base hits

Marlins prospect homers, doubles twice on three-RBI night

Second-ranked Marlins prospect Jake Marisnick homered, doubled twice, plated three runs and scored twice in Jacksonville's 8-1 win over Tennessee on Saturday. Top Marlins prospect Christian Yelich reached base three times and scored twice.

Mark Canha was 5-for-6 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.

Miami's No. 5 prospect Adam Conley improved to 9-4 with a 3.41 ERA, having allowed only an unearned run on two hits and three walks while striking out six over seven innings.

Francisco Lindor, the Indians' top prospect, had three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored in Akron's 11-2 romp at Harrisburg. He has eight hits and seven walks in six Double-A games. Teammate Carlos Moncrief homered and plated four runs.

Jeff Howell homered for the Senators.

After hitting three home runs Saturday, Jason Rogers hit another one in Huntsville's 7-5 loss to Pensacola.

Ariel Pena, Milwaukee's No. 16 prospect, fanned six over five innings but gave up three runs and did not factor in the decision.

Reds' No. 20 prospect Yorman Rodriguez reached base three times and scored twice, and Mike Costanzo homered and scored three runs for the Blue Wahoos.

Taylor Lindsey, the Angels' No. 4 prospect, was 3-for-5 with an RBI in Arkansas' 7-2 win over Tulsa.

The club's No. 9 prospect Travis Witherspoon doubled, singled, walked, stole a base, knocked in a run and made a diving catch to begin a game-ending double play.

Rockies' No. 4 prospect Kyle Parker doubled for the second time in as many games. He has 11 RBIs and a .325 average over his last 10.
