Michael Morse Starts Rehab in Potomac on Tuesday
The length of the rehab is still to be determined but he could have multiple games at the Pfitz with the P-Nats starting a seven game home stand tonight at 6:05 PM.
Morse, a native of Florida, has been on the 15-day DL with a torn left lat muscle. He is shooting to play for Washington on June 8th when the Nationals face the Boston Red Sox.
Morse, 30, had a career year last season with the Washington Nationals. He set career highs in every offensive category including top 10 finishes among NL batters in home runs (31, 9th), RBI (95, 10th) and Slugging (.550, 4th). Morse was acquired in a trade in 2009 from Seattle and originally drafted by Chicago (AL) in the 3rd Round of the 2000 Draft.
