MiLB announces CBS broadcast schedule

Remaining slate includes key matchups at three classifications

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Minor League Baseball announced today the remaining 10 games of its 2014 Game of the Week broadcast schedule on CBS Sports Network this season. The schedule includes key matchups within three classifications of Minor League Baseball, including Triple-A, Double-A and Single-A. This is the first time in MiLB's 100 plus years of existence that multiple classifications of Minor League Baseball will be featured on a national TV broadcast.

The schedule is as follows:

  • June 5: Albuquerque Isotopes (Dodgers) vs. Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners), 10:05 p.m. ET
  • June 12: Frisco RoughRiders (Rangers) vs. Corpus Christi Hooks (Astros), 8:05 p.m. ET
  • June 19: Kannapolis Intimidators (White Sox) vs. Charleson RiverDogs (Yankees), 7:05 p.m. ET
  • June 26: Las Vegas 51s (Mets) vs. Sacramento River Cats (A's), 10:05 p.m. ET
  • July 3: Winston-Salem Dash (White Sox) vs. Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Rangers), 8:05 p.m. ET
  • July 10: South Bend Silver Hawks (Diamondbacks) vs. Dayton Dragons (Reds), 7:05 p.m. ET
  • July 17: New Orleans Zephyrs (Marlins) vs. Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals), 9:05 p.m. ET
  • July 24: Akron RubberDucks (Indians) vs. Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies), 7:05 p.m. ET
  • July 31: Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners) vs. Salt Lake Bees (Angels), 9:05 p.m. ET
  • August 7: Huntsville Stars (Brewers) vs. Birmingham Barons (White Sox), 9:05 p.m. ET

Fans tuning in to the Game of the Week broadcasts will see intrastate rivalries, an array of baseball's top prospects and 15 unique team locations over the course of the season. A total of 28 teams are being featured, as well as eight different leagues and more than 20 Major League Baseball affiliations. Dick Gabriel and Doug Flynn will continue to anchor the weekly broadcasts, with Lauren Gardner serving as roving reporter.
