MiLB jerseys featured on 'Today Show'

Father's Day gift segment also spotlights vintage t-shirts, caps
June 14, 2010
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A Toledo Mud Hens Minor League Baseball jersey was among the suggested items to buy for Father's Day this morning by GQ style editor, Adam Rapoport, on the Today Show on NBC.

The four-minute "Today's Style" segment highlighted jerseys, t-shirts and caps produced by Ebbets Field Flannels.

In addition to the No. 7 Toledo jersey, the segment showed a vintage 1946 Montreal Royals cap, like the one Jackie Robinson wore while playing for the International League club in 1946, and t-shirts of the Jersey City Giants (1937-46, International League), 1954 Miami Beach Flamingos (Florida International League) and the 1954 Pacific Coast League Oakland Acorns.

The Montreal cap and Miami Beach t-shirt are among the apparel items available for purchase in the Hometown Collection department at www.milbstore.com online. The website contains the largest assortment of officially licensed Minor League Baseball products, including collectibles, novelties and trading cards.
