*Blowing out the candles
*Christian Colón celebrated his 32nd year in style. The shortstop followed up a nifty play in the field with a moonshot three-run blast over the high wall in left to give his club the lead.

Put it in the books
A trio of Astros pitching prospects -- Jayson Schroeder, Ernesto Jaquez and Angel Macuare -- combined to toss the first no-no in Fayetteville Woodpeckers franchise history.

Hurt so good
Double-A Montgomery wins it on a walk-off hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The Montgomery Biscuits throw it back to the 1970s retro jerseys look with their City Edition unis that they are rocking on Friday night.

Look mom, quick hands
Salem left-hander Jorge Rodriguez showed some lightning-quick reflexes on a comebacker, snagging the liner and starting a triple play with second baseman Nick Yorke and first baseman Stephen Scott to end a threat in the fourth inning against Lynchburg.

Don't you forget about me
With a couple of his fellow organizational Top 100 prospects making splashy debuts in Seattle, Taylor Trammell showed there is still talent waiting in the wings in Triple-A Tacoma. The No. 6 Mariners prospect delivered a homer, four RBIs and two runs in the Rainiers' 15-5 rout of Salt Lake.

Look what I found!
Augusta's Stephen Paolini, the No. 29 Braves prospect, hauls in a fast-moving liner by Myrtle Beach's Matt Mervis in Low-A East play.

History in the making
Matt Frisbee tossed six perfect innings and then Joey Marciano, Matt Seelinger and Patrick Ruotolo closed out the first nine-inning no-hitter in Double-A Flying Squirrels history.

The hot corner gets a little hotter
Baseball's No. 1 overall prospect Wander Franco manned third base for Triple-A Durham -- his first time at the position in the Minor Leagues. He foiled a stolen-base attempt by Jacksonville's Jazz Chisholm and made two other plays with relative ease.

Now that's effective
We're both intimidated and going "awwww" at the same time, Turbo. Can only imagine what that game face is like in person for High-A Bowling Green's opponents.

It was tee-off time for Bowie's Adley Rutschman, Pensacola's JJ Bleday, Portland's Triston Casas and Northwest Arkansas' Bobby Witt Jr. tonight.

Brother, can you spare a hit?
Meeting up for the first time in the pro ranks, Triple-A Columbus' Bradley Zimmer lines a single against brother, Kyle Zimmer, who is rehabbing with Omaha. The Major Leaguer gets out of the jam, though, on a sharp defensive play.

How to achieve a milestone
Double-A SeaWolves skipper Arnie Beyeler picks up his 1,000th career win on the heels of five perfect frames from starter Edwin Rodriguez and Riley Greene's first three-hit game of the season.

Twins infield prospect Spencer Steer completes a straight steal of home plate against Asa Lacy to put the High-A Kernels on the board against the fourth overall pick in the 2020 Draft and the River Bandits.

Tuesday's feel-good story
Triple-A Sacramento teed off four times in the second inning against Las Vegas, with the most poignant long ball coming off the bat of Drew Robinson.

Just for starters
On one hand, right-hander Garrett Stallings, Baltimore's No. 28 prospect, twirled five hitless for Aberdeen. And on the other hand ... and the other side, lefty Ken Waldichuk, the No. 27 Yankees prospect, struck out 10 batters over 3 1/3 frames for Hudson Valley.

Why Walker when you can belt and run?
Jordan Walker's still a teenager, but he can hit like a seasoned pro. The sixth-ranked St. Louis prospect sent his second home run of the season a long way for Low-A Palm Beach.

Kid in the Hall
DL Hall delivers another scoreless outing for Double-A Bowie, striking out nine over five innings. In his first two starts of the season, Baltimore's No. 4 prospect has scattered four hits over 9 1/3 frames.

That long ball was Jumbo-sized
Jesús Sánchez smashes a home run out to the concourse beyond the right-field bleachers at Durham Bulls Athletic Park for Triple-A Jacksonville. It was the fourth in 28 at-bats for Miami's No. 6 prospect.

A glowing endorsement
