Miracle continue partnership with Twins

FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 4, 2012) - The Fort Myers Miracle and the Minnesota Twins have agreed to extend their Player Development Contract for two years, through the 2014 season.

The Twins longest-running minor league full-season affiliate, Fort Myers began affiliation with Minnesota in 1993. The Miracle have been a staple of family, fun, affordable entertainment in Southwest Florida for the last 17 years. Drawing over 120,000 fans in three of the last five seasons including 2012, the Miracle have been top-four in the Florida State League for individual game average attendance every year since 2005.

21 players that suited up for the Twins in 2012 spent development time in Fort Myers including Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Denard Span, Ben Revere, Alexi Casilla, Brian Dozier, Trevor Plouffe, Chris Parmalee, Chris Hermann, and Liam Hendricks.

The Miracle are owned by The Goldklang Group. The Goldklang Group provides operational consulting and management services in all areas relating to sports franchise and event acquisition, promotion and operation.
