Matt Young, the second straight G-Braves player to grab this award (Barbaro Canizares picked it up last week), scored a run in all but one of the week's six games, and he was also hitless in just one contest. The Atlanta farmhand did work a seventh-inning, bases-loaded walk during his 0-for-3 Monday, also scoring a run in that affair. Young had a three-run homer during a 3-for-5 performance Thursday, and he stole two bases Friday. On Saturday, he doubled twice, ripped off three bags and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. He singled, scored and had another theft Sunday.

Pacific Coast League
Drew Locke, Round Rock

The Astros' Drew Locke walked eight times and struck out just once this week, an indicator he's generally only swinging at good pitches to hit. Another indicator? He averaged one extra-base hit per game, doubling twice Monday and three times Tuesday. He was 1-for-2 with a home run, two walks, two RBIs and two runs scored Thursday, and he singled, walked three times, stole a base and scored two runs over the next two games. He hit his 17th homer of the season Sunday.

Eastern League
Tagg Bozied, Reading

Tagg Bozied bashed two homers Tuesday, a fitting start to a week in which he drove in at least one run in every game. He went yard again Wednesday, and he doubled and plated three runs Thursday. After a Saturday rainout, the 31-year-old Phillies farmhand homered again and doubled in Game 1 of a Sunday doubleheader, and he also doubled in Game 2. Over the course of the day, he totaled two RBIs and three runs scored, leading Reading to a split with Erie.

Southern League
Steve Clevenger, Tennessee

After doubling in three straight games -- and four out of five -- at the start of the week, Cubs prospect Steve Clevenger cooled off with an 0-for-4 Thursday. He came through with a ninth-inning, pinch-hit single Friday but made it only as far as third before the Smokies' luck expired. Over the next two days, though, Clevenger led Tennessee to a pair of wins. He was a triple shy of the cycle with perfect days at the plate on both Saturday and Sunday, driving in five and doubling twice during Saturday's 5-for-5 performance and driving in four and scoring twice while going 3-for-3 with a walk Sunday.

Texas League
Jeremy Moore, Arkansas

Jeremy Moore, a sixth-round selection of the Angels in 2005 who turned 23 in June, has put together a solid campaign in his first full season at the Double-A level (he played in seven Texas League games last year). This week, he was spectacular. He had multiple hits in every game except for Friday's 1-for-3 outing that saw him score twice, and he stole a base in each of the week's final three games. Moore was 3-for-4 with a double Monday, tripled Wednesday and homered Thursday, plating three runs and twice crossing the dish himself in that game. He tripled again during a 3-for-5 Saturday, notching an RBI and a run scored. Moore's nine three-baggers lead the Texas League, and he's also among the best in the circuit in batting (.310), stolen bases (23) and hits (127).

California League
Grant Green, Stockton

Grant Green, a first-round pick in last year's Draft, was a key component in a Ports winning streak that stretched to 14 games before a Sunday loss. Green tripled and singled to plate a run and score one in his first game of the week, Tuesday, and he had at least one RBI in each subsequent game. He was 3-for-5 with a double and a stolen base Thursday, and he homered and plated three Friday. The A's prospect swatted his 16th homer of the season in Sunday's streak-ender. His 156 hits are second in the Cal League.

Carolina League
Tyler Moore, Potomac

Another week, another series of long balls off the bat of Potomac's Tyler Moore, who also posted a .552 on-base percentage (239 points better than his season average) over the last seven games and has 55 RBIs in his last 37 games. The Nationals prospect especially caught ablaze over three games, homering and driving in five Wednesday, hitting another homer during a three-RBI effort in his next game, on Friday, and belting two homers and collecting five RBIs Saturday. That stretch was the second time this season, and second in the month of August, during which Moore has homered in three straight games. He finished the week off with a single, two walks and a run scored in Sunday's game.

Florida State League
Jordan Lennerton, Lakeland

Some folks, like Jordan Lennerton, like it hot. Since coming to the Florida State League, he's hit .325 with nine home runs and 30 RBIs in 46 games. (In 59 Midwest League games, he hit .290 with three homers and 23 RBIs.) The Tigers prospect opened the week with long balls in three straight games, and he homered again Thursday, which was the ninth straight game in which he'd recorded an RBI. After an 0-for-3 blemish Friday, he went 2-for-2 with a walk Saturday and homered and doubled Sunday. Lennerton is hitting .417 over his last 10 games, and his .393 mark in the month of August is second in circuit.

Midwest League
D'Vontrey Richardson, Wisconsin

D'Vontrey Richardson, a ninth-round pick of the Brewers in the 2009 Draft, doubled in his first tilt of the week, tripled in his second and doubled again in his third, working five walks over the course of those games. He was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs on Friday, and he still found time to earn three more free passes that game, ultimately scoring three runs. He homered and doubled Sunday, producing two of his team's three extra-base hits in Wisconsin's 10-2 loss to Cedar Rapids.

South Atlantic League
Nolan Arenado, Asheville

A 2009 second-round pick of the Rockies, Nolan Arenado comes into the new week having doubled in nine straight Sally League games. On Thursday, as if to emphasize a point, he smacked three two-baggers while going 4-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs scored. He added a homer into the mix in his next game, and he scored a run in his fourth straight game Saturday. On Sunday, he knocked a run and collected his 35th double of 2010, which gave him the second most in the league. If he continues at this rate, though, he's likely to finish first.

New York-Penn League
Casey Stevenson, Staten Island

After a slow start, Casey Stevenson appears to be getting the hang of pro ball. The Yankees' 25th-round pick from this year's Draft came into the week with a .197 batting average and was on an 0-for-16 skid. He homered Wednesday, which was his first game of the week due to the All-Star break, and he missed the cycle by a triple Thursday, plating two runs and scoring twice. He had another three-hit, two-RBI game Saturday, and he singled and walked Sunday.

Northwest League
Ryan Strausborger, Spokane

Ryan Strausborger, who was picked up by the Rangers out of Indiana State in the 16th round of this year's Draft, legged out two triples, doubled, knocking in a run and scoring twice Monday, which was his third three-hit game as a pro. Three games later, he notched four hits for the first time, doubling and homering and stealing two bases Friday. He singled in a run and went from first to home on a double Saturday, and he singled twice and scored two runs Sunday.

Appalachian League
Matt Browning, Pulaski

Thanks to three rainouts in Johnson City, Matt Browning played just three games this week, but he made the most of every one of them. He was 2-for-4 with a homer Thursday, singled and scored a run Saturday and missed the cycle by a triple while going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBIs on Sunday. The Mariners prospect has four homers in 39 pro games, and all of them have come since Aug. 12. He's hitting .438 with 11 RBIs and nine runs scored over his last 10 contests.

Pioneer League
Cody Hawn, Helena

Brewers prospect Cody Hawn was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning of his first game of the week, which allowed him to reach base for the second time in the game without getting a hit. In his next at-bat, though, he smacked a two-run homer, giving Helena a 3-2 win over Casper. He doubled and singled twice to knock in three more runs against the Ghosts on Tuesday, and he homered, knocked in two and scored twice Wednesday. In the series finale on Thursday, he was 1-for-3 with a pair of walks, an RBI and two runs scored. Over the weekend, he combined for seven hits -- including a double and a home run -- and four runs scored.
