Panik keeps Scorpions' streak alive

Joe Panik, the Giants' No. 6 prospect, went 3-for-3 with a stolen base, two runs scored and an RBI as the Scorpions won their fourth straight. Yankees' No. 5 prospect Slade Heathcott drove in a pair of runs for Scottsdale, which got five strong innings from Chris Gloor and moved into first place in the East Division. Luis Sardinas, the Rangers' No. 7 prospect, homered and drove in four runs as Surprise won a slugfest against the Solar Sox. The Saguaros scored seven runs in each of the first two innings to build an early 14-4 lead, then held off a late charge led by Javier Baez. The Cubs' top prospect slugged a three-run homer in the eighth and leads the Fall League with 12 RBIs. In another high-scoring affair, the Desert Dogs overcame a seven-run deficit and beat the Javelinas on a walk-off single by A's catching prospect Max Stassi. Brewers prospect Josh Prince led the way for Phoenix, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs and scoring the winning run. Home runs by Stefen Romero (Mariners) and Padres' top prospect Rymer Liriano helped Peoria build an 11-4 advantage through four innings before the Desert Dogs scored eight unanswered runs.
