Pedroza and McGee named FSL End of Season All-Stars

On Monday the Florida State League announced its End of Season All-Star team. Sergio Pedroza and Jake McGee were the two Vero Beach Devil Rays selected to the team.

As of Monday night Sergio Pedroza has appeared in 110 games for the Vero Beach Devil Rays and is hitting .287. He is second in the league in home runs with 22 and slugging percentage .540. Pedroza also ranks fourth in the league with 50 extra base hits. Sergio Pedroza leads the Vero Beach Devil Rays in 2B, HR, RBI, total bases, slugging percentage and on-base plus slugging.

Jake McGee was promoted to Montgomery on August 7th but while he was in Vero Beach he put up some impressive numbers. McGee started 21 games for the Vero Beach Devil Rays and finished with a 5-4 record. He currently leads the league in strikeouts (145) and is second in ERA (2.93).
