Pelicans Fan Fest Set for April 4th!
Fan Fest will take place Wednesday, April 4th, from 5:30-7:30PM. The event is open to the public, and fans are invited to come to Pelicans Ballpark and watch the team's workout that evening. Also headlining the event is the judging for the Pelicans second annual 'Homerun Recipe Contest.' The winner will have his or her dish served at Pelicans Ballpark concession stands this season. Celebrity judging for the event will come from Jason Claspell (News Channel 15), Heather Biance (WMBF News), Andrew Phillips (News 13), and Becky Billingsley (MyrtleBeachRestaurantNews.com) among others.
Fan Fest also features an opportunity for fans to select-a-seat for their season or single game tickets. Ticket representatives will be on hand to answer any questions and the Pelicans Booster Club will be there to sign up new members as well. There will also be inflatable amusements for kids and the concessions stands and Pro Shop, with new 2012 merchandise, will be open.
Pelicans single game tickets, season tickets, flex Books and mini-plans for the 2012 season are now on sale at the Pelicans Ballpark offices or by calling (843) 918-6000. Normal box office hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm. Tickets are available anytime online at MyrtleBeachPelicans.com, powered by TicketReturn. The Pelicans open 2012 at home against the Wilmington Blue Rocks, Friday, April 6th, at 7:05 pm.
