Peoria 8, Mesa 2

Reds pitching prospect Tim Crabbe tossed four no-hit innings for Peoria and the Javelinas caught fire late to roll over Mesa on Thursday in the Arizona Fall League. A first-inning walk to Astros No. 3 prospect George Springer was the only blemish for Crabbe, who retired the final 11 batters he faced. Nick Franklin, Seattle's No. 3 prospect, and Dan Rohlfing (Twins) each drove in a pair of runs for the Javelinas. Top Cubs prospect Javier Baez accounted for both of Mesa's runs, stealing home in the fifth and homering in the bottom of the ninth. Recap | Gameday box score
