International League(April 13-19)
Aneury Rodriguez, Durham

Rays pitching prospect Aneury Rodriguez wasn't frazzled by an early-season promotion to the International League. In his Triple-A debut on Tuesday, he dismissed Charlotte with seven shutout innings, allowing four hits and a walk while striking out six. Facing Gwinnett on Sunday, the 22-year-old native of the Dominican Republic gave up one hit -- a leadoff double on his fifth pitch of the game -- and walked two while whiffing four over another seven scoreless frames.

Pacific Coast League
Radhames Liz, Portland
1-0, 1.50 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 11 SO
San Diego farmhand Radhames Liz appears to enjoy working in a new organization. The righty put in seven years in the Orioles organization before the Padres claimed him off waivers in November. Liz pitched just six innings this week, and he gave up a run on three hits. His 11 strikeouts in that outing, though, separate him from every other contender. Considering he faced only 24 batters, he fanned just one fewer than half of Sacramento the hitters who stepped into the box against him.

Eastern League
Phillippe Aumont, Reading
2-0, 0.53 ERA, 3 G, 2 GS, 17 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 6 BB, 11 SO
After his first two starts in Reading, Phillies fans could be forgiven for wondering what was so special about Phillippe Aumont, who was acquired in the Cliff Lee deal. He combined for a 5.91 ERA and hadn't gotten out of the sixth inning in either of those outings. On Monday, the Canadian-born righty struck out five and allowed one run on three hits while taking a tough loss. On Sunday, he put any doubt to rest, tossing six no-hit innings and allowing only two walks, whiffing four along the way. His dominating performance earned him his first win in the Philadelphia system.

Southern League
Amaury Rivas, Huntsville
2-0, 0.69 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 13 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 6 BB, 9 SO
Brewers prospect Amaury Rivas is blowing through hitters in his first Double-A season, and he's shown that he's building stamina with his two starts this week. After two fine five-inning starts, Rivas stepped it up with six solid innings on Monday, allowing a run on three walks and a pair of hits while striking out four. He followed up that outing with a complete game seven-inning appearance on Sunday. He walked three again and relented three hits, but the only run Chattanooga scored off him was unearned. He struck out five in the contest.

Texas League
Edgar Osuna, Northwest Arkansas

For the second straight time, a Royals prospect claims Pitcher of the Week honors. (Federico Castaneda, who's been promoted to Triple-A Omaha, took home the award last week). Edgar Osuna was claimed from Atlanta in the Rule 5 Draft last December and shipped to Northwest Arkansas when the Braves declined the option to take him back. After three Texas League starts, he still hasn't allowed an earned run. He delivered again Thursday with a seven-inning blanking of Arkansas, in which he struck out six and walked one, scattering five hits.

California League
Joshua Collmenter, Visalia
0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K
The Diamondbacks' Collmenter, who's back in the Cal League after posting an 8-10 record and 4.15 ERA there in 2009, may feel like he's beginning to knock on Double-A's door. He hasn't gone more than five outings in a start this year, but it's his remarkable tendency to pile up strikeout victims that's pushing his pitch count up. For example, facing Inland Empire on Saturday, Collmenter fanned nine 66ers in five innings of shutout work. Considering he allowed one walk and one hit, it was a pretty decent outing.

Carolina League
Michael Montgomery, Wilmington
1-0, 1.42 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.2 IP, 10 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 14 K
Michael Montgomery, another Royals hurler, claims the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week title for the second consecutive week. He fanned eight and gave up one unearned run on two hits and a walk in a no-decision against Kinston on Monday. In his next start, he threw 6 2/3 frames against Winston-Salem, allowing two runs on eight hits and striking out six to earn his second win of the season.

Florida State League
Austin Hyatt, Clearwater
2-0, 0.82 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 11 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 15 K
The Phillies began 2009 15th-rounder Austin Hyatt in Class A Advanced ball in his first full professional season, and the 23-year-old righty is showing he can handle it. Striking out eight over five innings in his first start of the season, Hyatt held Tampa to an unearned run on three hits and two walks over five innings Monday. On Saturday, he struck out seven in six innings of two-hit ball in Dunedin. Although he issued three walks in that start, he allowed just one run and recorded the win for the Threshers.

Midwest League
Daniel Osterbrock, Beloit
1-0, 1.35 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 13.1 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 14 K
Twins prospect Daniel Osterbrock was roughed up over his 28 Midwest League games in 2009, ending the campaign with a 5.19 ERA. This season, thought, the southpaw looks like he's figured out Class A hitters. He tossed 6 1/3 shutout innings on Monday, and on Saturday he struck out eight in seven innings. He won the former start and took a no-decision in the latter start, having allowed two runs on five hits and a walk.

South Atlantic League
Graham Stoneburner, Charleston
0-0, 1.29 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 14 IP, 11 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 16 K
Graham Stoneburner, the Yankees' 14th-round pick in last year's Draft, hasn't notched his first pro win yet, but he's definitely pitched like a winner. He allowed eight hits and three walks over six innings to Augusta on Monday, but he limited the GreenJackets to one run and struck out eight. On Sunday, he pitched eight innings of three-hit ball against the R-Braves, allowing one run while picking up eight more strikeouts.
