MLB Network is going to simulcast the regularly scheduled coverage of the Ports June 29 game by Comcast Hometown Network, a regional cable network covering Northern and Central California. Ports fans in Northern and Central California can tune into Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104, all season long for 40 total California League games on Comcast Hometown Network, including 20 from Banner Island Ballpark.

The Ports invite all area fans to "Pack the Park" on June 29 and show the national and regional television audience all of the terrific things the City of Stockton and the Ports have to offer.

"This telecast is great not just for the Stockton Ports and the Oakland A's, but is also terrific for the City of Stockton," said Ports President and General Manager Pat Filippone. "We are very proud that our stadium is part of the city's successful downtown revitalization project and we look forward to showing off the stadium on its waterfront location in front of a national audience. We look forward to showing people why Banner Island Ballpark has been named the top stadium in the California League for the past several years."

The Ports are proud to partner with Comcast for the June 29 game to help "Pack the Park." Comcast will be purchasing 500 tickets and meals for fans, which will be donated to local charities through the United Way and San Joaquin County Office of Education. The Ports are proud to work with the Comcast Cares Program to help bring area charities to Banner Island Ballpark.

To help showcase area businesses at the game, the Ports are offering a ticket special through the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce to chamber members. Chamber members can purchase discounted $5 Field Box or $8 MVP tickets to the June 29 game. Members are encouraged to attend the game and show their support for Downtown Stockton.

The Ports are also excited to offer fundraising opportunities to area schools, booster clubs, sports teams, and other non-profit organizations for the game, in which organizations can sell Ports tickets for the June 29 game and receive a portion of the profit.
