Like anything needs to be added to the excitement of seeing your favorite Bisons slugger blast a ball out of Dunn Tire Park!

The Bisons annual Home Run Challenge , presented by SeaWorld Orlando, will be held on Saturday, August 2 after the Herd's game against the Syracuse Chiefs. As usual, every home run hit will mean great prizes for someone in the park. It doesn't matter which slugger takes one deep. They homer, you win!

This year, a grand prize has been added, and someone WILL go home with a Nintendo Wii entertainment system (see below for more prizes).

And the best news of all...more sluggers have been added to the competition! Not only will you see Bisons players test their might, but former Major Leaguers Jack Clark and George Foster will take part in this year's event! More hitters means more chances for you to go home with some great prizes.

Clark had 340 long balls in his 18 seasons at the big league level while Foster crushed 348 homers in his 18 years playing for teams like the Big Red Machine in Cincinnati. That totals the power of almost 700 trips around the base paths, coming to Buffalo to help you win big! Famous for being sluggers for San Francisco, St. Louis and Cincy, both players also made their way to New York during their careers: Clark playing for the Yankees in 1988 while Foster spent five seasons with the Mets, 1982-86.

To cap an amazing evening off, the Bisons will light up the sky one more time with a post game, post home run challenge Fireworks Show.
