Professional Wrestling Coming to Centene Stadium on June 11th

Voyagers and Big Time Wrestling team up to host Professional Wrestling Event
March 30, 2015

The Voyagers are proud to announce a partnership with "Big Time Wrestling" to bring professional wrestling to Centene Stadium on Thursday, June 11th. This one night event will begin at 7:30 with gates opening at 6:00pm for fans to get autographs and meet their wrestling heroes. This 2.5 hour event will feature 6 matches highlighting some of wrestling's biggest stars including Scotty 2 Hotty, Gangrel and the night's headliner Bret "The Hitman" Hart.

Bret "Hitman" Hart hails from the first family of pro wrestling and was trained in Calgary's infamous Hart family dungeon by his promoter father, Stu Hart, who was awarded the Order of Canada for a lifetime of contributions to charity and community. Bret earned numerous amateur wrestling awards before turning to Olympic style wrestling's more theatrical counterpart and he is widely considered by his peers to be the most technically proficient pro wrestler of his era. But when Bret confidently asserts his slogan proclaiming that he's the best there is, was or ever will be it's not because he's the toughest or the strongest … but because in all those thousands of hard hitting action packed bouts - what Bret is really so prideful about is that he never actually hurt even one opponent! In the fall of 2004 Bret was voted one of the top 50 Canadians of all time on CBC's Greatest Canadian. Bret says he doesn't yet know how he's going to live up to such an honor, but that it'll be great fun to try! Bret devoted 7 years to writing his critically acclaimed autobiography; HITMAN: MY REAL LIFE IN THE CARTOON WORLD OF WRESTLING and is now a #1 bestselling author in the US, UK and Canada.

Scott Ronald "Scotty" Garland (born July 2, 1973) is an American firefighter and professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring names Scott Taylor (1991-1999) and Scotty 2 Hotty (1999-2007).

The mysterious Gangrel was already known by many fans before making his way to the WWF in the Fully Loaded of 1998. Gangrel sparked interest from his very first WWF appearance. His ring entrances contain a lot of dramatics as he rises up through a ring of flames onto the entrance ramp. Before stepping between the ropes, he drinks the viscous, red liquid that is contained in the goblet that he carries to ringside, and sprays it out into the crowd.

Tickets for the event are on sale now by clicking here, by phone at (406) 452-5311 or at the Voyagers offices located inside Centene Stadium. Tickets start at just $20 for stadium GA seating while $50 VIP tickets with a private 30 minute autograph session and front row seating are also available.
