Radle And Holloway Added To Blue Rocks Staff

Radle To Serve As Team's New Director of Sales
December 7, 2012

Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks are proud to announce the addition of Brian Radle as the team's new director of advertising sales and Megan Holloway as the organization's new group sales associate. The 31-year-old spent the 2012 season in Southern Maryland as the assistant general manager for the Blue Crabs. His duties included directing the sales, marketing and communication departments. He oversaw an increase in attendance for the Blue Crabs of over 10,000 fans.

Prior to his tenure in Southern Maryland, Radle spent five seasons with the Lancaster Barnstormers where he rose to the rank of director of events. He got his start in professional baseball as an account executive with the Camden Riversharks in 2005.

Radle was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He went to school just a short drive up I-95 from Frawley Stadium at LaSalle University. He moves back to the area with his fiancée, Jeanine. The couple will be married on November 17.

A self-professed diehard Philadelphia sports fan, Radle says he is happy to be back in the Delaware Valley. But it was the Blue Rocks' reputation in baseball circles that led him back to the area. "During my years in baseball, I've come to know a good number of people in the industry," Radle says. "So many of them have had nothing but good things to say about this organization. I am excited to be a part of the Blue Rocks family and I am looking forward to a great future in Wilmington."

Blue Rocks general manager Chris Kemple was effusive in his praise for Radle.

"Brian Radle has a great deal of passion and creativity, which will make him a huge asset to the Blue Rocks," Kemple says. "We feel very fortunate to have lured him to Wilmington, and feel like he will make us stronger as an organization."

Holloway returns to the Rocks after spending the 2011 season as the team's game entertainment assistant. She spent last season with the Eastern League's Bowie Baysox.

She graduated from Penn State in 2010 University with dual degrees in Advertising and Integrative Art.
