Rattlers and WNAM sign extension

February 10, 2011
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and WNAM have extended their current relationship through the 2016 season. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and AM 1280, WNAM signed an extension to have all 140 regular season Timber Rattlers games - along with any playoff games - broadcast on the Cumulus owned station.

"Our relationship with WNAM has been outstanding since they first started airing our games in 2009," said Timber Rattlers team president Rob Zerjav. "Their signal strength allows fans from north of Green Bay to south of Fond du Lac and beyond to tune in to Timber Rattlers baseball on the radio and follow the progress of the prospects in the Brewers system. We are very happy to be continuing this partnership."

Broadcaster Chris Mehring returns this year for his twelfth season of calling Timber Rattlers games on the radio. Fans outside of the WNAM listening area may continue to hear the games on either www.timberrattlers.com or www.1280wnam.com.

Opening Day for the 2011 season is Thursday, April 7. Season ticket packages and tickets for groups of 20 or more are available now by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or by stopping at the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
