Rattlers rained out at home on Tuesday

April 26, 2011
GRAND CHUTE, WI - Tuesday's game between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Quad Cities River Bandits at Time Warner Cable Field was rained out. Heavy rain started in the early morning hours of Tuesday and continued through the day. That forced the Wisconsin front office to call off the game. This is the seventh Timber Rattlers game that has been postponed by weather since April 15. Five of those games have been home games.

Fans with tickets for Tuesday's game may exchange them for the same price ticket to a regular season Timber Rattlers home game - excluding special events and playoff games - during the 2011 season. Tickets must be exchanged at the Timber Rattlers ticket office. Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed.

The Rattlers and River Bandits will play a pair of seven inning games on Wednesday afternoon. Game one is scheduled to start at 12:05pm. A second game will follow the conclusion of game one by thirty minutes. Tyler Thornburg and Austin Ross are the scheduled starting pitchers for Wisconsin. Quad Cities will counter with Zach Russell and Trevor Rosenthal taking the hill.

Wednesday is an American TV Win-It Wednesday. Every fan aged 16 and older will receive a scratch-off ticket. Each ticket is a winner with prizes from the Timber Rattlers and American TV of Appleton.

The Rattlers are also offering the Baker Tilly Business Person's Special presented by 103.9 WVBO. The special is a box seat ticket, a beverage, and a brat or hot dog for $11.50 and a business card. Senior citizens may also take advantage of this offer.
