Redbirds Host Entire PCL Championship Series

Stadium Construction in Tacoma Gives Memphis Home Field Advantage

MEMPHIS, TN - All games in the best-of-5 series against the Tacoma Rainiers will be played at AutoZone Park starting on Tuesday, September 14th at 7:05pm. At the conclusion of the regular season, renovations began on Tacoma's Cheney Stadium rendering the field unplayable.

This is the Memphis Redbirds' second consecutive Championship Series appearance and 3rd in team history. In 2009 the Redbirds swept the Sacramento River Cats in 3 games, and in 2000 Albert Pujols helped Memphis win its first PCL crown in walk-off fashion against the Salt Lake City Buzz in Game 4.

Tickets for the series will continue to be Buy One Get One Free tickets for all seats. There will also be a catered option available to all fans that includes a Club Level ticket and a 2-hour buffet for $25. Tickets and buffet package are available online and at the AutoZone Park box office.
