Reds Caravan to Stop at Louisville Slugger Field

Louisville, KY - The 2011 Reds Winter Caravan, presented by CincinnatiUSA.com, will make its annual stop in Louisville on Thursday, January 27 at Louisville Slugger Field from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature Hall of Fame Broadcaster Marty Brennaman, Hall of Fame second baseman Joe Morgan, former Red Lee May, All-Star second baseman Brandon Phillips, Reds Minor League Player of the Year Devin Mesoraco, Reds Vice President and Assistant General Manager Bob Miller, pitcher Matt Maloney, Reds mascot Gapper and Bats mascot Buddy Bat.

The very popular Reds Caravan provides fans with the opportunity to interact with current and former players, broadcasters, and members of the Reds front office staff. The group will field questions from fans and sign autographs. The Reds will also raffle off two tickets to the 2011 Opening Day game against the Milwaukee Brewers on March 31.

Sales representatives from both the Cincinnati Reds and Louisville Bats will be on hand to discuss season tickets and group outings, while the Reds Hall of Fame, the Reds Community Fund and Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network will also be in attendance.

The 2011 season will mark the 12th year at Louisville Slugger Field and the 12th season as an affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The Bats open their 2011 season at home on Thursday, April 7 vs. Toledo at 6:35.
