(WOODBRIDGE, VA) - Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers will be at Pfitzner Stadium for the Potomac Nationals June 23rd game with the Winston-Salem Dash. Presented by Ted Britt Ford Lincoln, the event will also feature fireworks following the 6:35 PM start.

Rollie Fingers is set to sign autographs as well as take photos with fans before the game in Woodbridge thanks to Ted Britt Ford Lincoln. The three-time World Series Champion will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. He is set to have an in game autographs session as well.

"We are thrilled and honored to have the great Rollie Fingers to the Pfitz as our guest on June 23rd," says Potomac General Manager Josh Olerud.

Fingers was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992. He spent 17 seasons in MLB with Oakland, San Diego and Milwaukee becoming the first player to save 300 games. When he retired, Fingers was the career saves leader with 341. Fingers won three straight World Championships with Oakland from 1972-1974 which included the 1974 Series MVP Award.

His 1981 season is considered one of the greatest in relief history with the right-hander having a 1.04 ERA with a league-high 28 saves. Not only did he take home the 1981 AL Cy Young award but also the AL MVP with the Brewers. Fingers was named to seven All-Star teams.

The game will also feature post-game fireworks presented by Ted Britt Ford Lincoln which has locations in Fairfax and Chantilly. The contest is set to start at 6:35 against the Winston-Salem Dash who are the Chicago White Sox affiliate for the Carolina League.
