August 5, 2007
Heath Rollins and Brian Baker combined on a five-hitter as Columbus cruised past visiting Lexington, 9-2, on Sunday.

Rollins (13-4) yielded two runs on four hits and struck out four without issuing a walk over seven innings for his 13th win, tying Asheville's Keith Weiser and Augusta's Benjamin Snyder for the South Atlantic League lead. The 22-year-old right-hander, who also leads the league with 127 strikeouts, has won three straight starts and seven of his last eight decisions.

Baker allowed one hit and fanned three over the final two frames.

Ryan Royster belted a two-run homer, his 18th, in the seventh, and Joey Callender smacked a two-run blast, his first in 78 games with the Catfish (26-16), in the eighth. Quinn Stewart added two hits and two RBIs.

Jhon Florentino slugged a two-run homer, his second, in the fourth for the Legends (19-25).

Lexington starter Bud Norris (1-6) took the loss after surrendering four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out two in six innings. --Zack Hample/MLB.com
