SECOND BUS NOW NEEDED: 8th Annual Fans Bus Trip to Pittsburgh. See Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds

April 15, 2012
Due to overwhelming demand that continued even after the first bus was full and well beyond the original April 5 deadline, the Princeton Rays are now close to having the minimum amount of fans needed to ACQUIRING A SECOND BUS for the team's 8th Annual Major League Bus Trip to Pittsburgh. This year, the trip will be conducted on May 5, 2012 to Pittsburgh's PNC Park to see the Pirates play the Cincinnati Reds in a 7:05 p.m. game.

"This has always been a popular trip and the calls have not stopped coming. With that in mind, we have almost the minimum amount of people needed to get a second bus and then we will also have additional seats for the trip even beyond that. The key right now is to get about at least another 4-6 people to go as soon as possible so we can get the second bus rented and obtain more game tickets from the Pittsburgh Pirates," said P-Rays' general manager Jim Holland in announcing the plans for a possible second bus. He added that interested persons should contact the Princeton Rays as quickly as possible.

Cost of the trip is $95.00 per person and includes all transportation fees and game ticket while all participants on the trip will also receive a Pittsburgh Pirates replica "21" jersey of Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente and view a fireworks show following the game.

The trip will be made aboard an air-conditioned charter bus(es), which will depart the Hunnicutt Field parking area in front of the ticket office at 11:30 a.m. on the day of the game and there be a meal / shopping stop enroute to Pittsburgh. The bus will return to Princeton immediately after the fireworks show following the game.

Since reserved seating is involved, all seats must be reserved and paid in full for the second bus as quickly as possible and preferably by the close of business on April 17. The Princeton Rays also accept major credit cards if you wish to order by telephone or e-mail. PLEASE NOTE: All payments are non-refundable after April 5, 2012.

For more details, or to request a registration form, interested persons can contact the Princeton Rays front office either by e-mail at [email protected] or by telephone at (304) 487-2000.
