Senators add Kelner to radio crew

Will cover middle innings and host pregame, postgame shows
December 6, 2012
With the winter meetings in full swing and player moves being made, the Harrisburg Senators are announcing a move of their own as Marshall Kelner has been hired as the number two radio broadcaster. Kelner comes to Harrisburg after having worked last season with the Battle Creek Bombers in the independent Northwoods League.

Kelner has also previously worked for the Chico Outlaws. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he covered the baseball, basketball and football teams for the campus radio station. In addition to his broadcasting experience, he worked for the Minnesota Twins in guest services for five years.

Once again in 2013 the radio broadcasts will be available on 1460am The Ticket locally in Harrisburg. The games are also available on iHeartRadio and on the Internet through the Senators website. Kelner will be responsible for play-by-play of the middle three innings during home games and will join Terry Byrom for the other six innings. He'll also host the pregame and postgame shows whether the team is at home or on the road.

The 2013 season and home opener is Thu, April 4 at 7 p.m., against the Bowie Baysox. Season tickets, mini-plans and group tickets are available at www.senatorsbaseball.com online or by phoning the Senators at 717-231-4444. Tickets for the home opener are also currently available online or by phoning the Senators.
