Senators and Akron Aeros Suspended on Wednesday Night

The game on Wednesday night in Akron between the Senators and Akron Aeros has been suspended in the top of the 2nd inning with the score tied 1-1. The game will resume on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. and be played to a full nine-inning conclusion. The regularly scheduled game for Thursday will follow 30-minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game and be a seven-inning game.

The Senators scored a run in the first inning on an RBI double off the bat of Tyler Moore. Akron tied the game in the bottom of the first with a two-out home run by Jared Goeddert.

When the game picks up, the Senators have runners at first and second with one-out and Steve Lombardozzi at the plate with no count.

This is the seventh game to be suspended or postponed already this season.
