Senators and Trenton Thunder Suspended Thursday Night

Thursday night's series opener between the Trenton Thunder and Harrisburg Senators has been suspended before the bottom of the second inning due to rain with the Senators leading 3-1. It will be resumed as part of a doubleheader Friday night beginning at 6:05 pm at Waterfront Park in Trenton. The second game will be a seven-inning contest. Due to the suspension, there will also be a twin bill played on Saturday night beginning at 5:05 pm with two seven-inning games.

The suspended game will be played to a nine-inning conclusion before the regularly scheduled game. RH Trevor Holder starts the the resumption of the suspended game while RH Kevin Pucetas starts the regularly scheduled game.

Saturday afternoon, Chien-Ming Wang is expected to start game one of the doubleheader for the Senators while the second game is still to be determined.

On Friday, the pregame show begins at 5:45 p.m. on 1460am The Ticket, on the Internet through the Senators website, and on all mobile devices with the iHeart Radio app. On Saturday, the pregame show starts at 4:45 p.m. with the first pitch slated for 5:05 p.m.

The Senators return home for a quick three-game homestand beginning next Friday night, August 3, against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

Tickets are available on game days 10:00 a.m. until the end of the game, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the game. Box office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours.
