Senators Opening Homestand Preview

Harrisburg, PA - Harrisburg, PA – After starting the season on the road, the Harrisburg Senators return home on Thursday night to open the home portion of the 2012 season against the Reading Phillies. The Phillies are in town for a four-game weekend series followed by the Altoona Curve next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The opening homestand features the first 40-inch Flatscreens and Fireworks night, the first giveaway on Saturday, and the first brand new Rite Aid wellness+ Sunday! There is much on tap at Metro Bank Park, listed below is a day-by-day schedule of events.

Thursday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m. against the Reading Phillies, gates open at 5:30 p.m.
• Thirsty Thursday presented by Coors Light and 105.7 The X.  Enjoy $2 Coors Light Drafts available throughout the ballpark.

Friday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m. against the Reading Phillies, gates open at 5:30 p.m.
• 40-inch Flatscreens & Fireworks Friday Night presented by Fox43 and WINK 104. The Senators are giving away a 40-inch flatscreen TV once per inning for the first nine innings. All fans 18 and over are eligible to win but must register to be in the drawing. Stay after the game and watch the first of many spectacular post-game fireworks shows this season.

Saturday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m. against the Reading Phillies, gates open at 5:30 p.m.
• Magnet Schedule Giveaway presented by Roto Rooter, Gazebo Room Dressing, Fox43, Bob 94.9, The River, and WHP 580 to the first 3,000 fans all ages.
• Kids Run the Bases presented by Direct Energy takes place post-game.

Sunday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. against the Reading Phillies, gates open at 12:30 p.m.
Rite Aid wellness+ Sunday presented by Rite Aid, CBS 21, CW 15, BOB 94.9, The River, & WHP 580
• Pre-game catch on the field prior to the game 
• Kids Eat Free - Every fan 12 and under receives a free meal on Sunday. Vouchers are available near the front gate and can be redeemed at several concession stands throughout the park.
• Adults receive a $2 discount when presenting their Ride Aid wellness + card at the box office prior to the game.
• Free admission to kids 12 and under who are members of the Capital BlueCross Kids Club (Maximum of two kids per paying adult. Tickets are good for box or reserved seats and are only available at the box office on Sunday)
• Kids Run the Bases takes place post-game.

Monday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. against the Altoona Curve, gates open at 6:00 p.m.
• Applebee’s Military Monday presented by Applebee’s and WHP 580, every Monday home game this season, current military members, veterans and their families are able to purchase half-price tickets. This first military Monday though, all military veterans and current members attend the game free. This offer is valid for all seating areas except the all-you-can-eat seats, club seats and luxury suites.  In addition, military past and present receive a coupon for a free hamburger at Applebee’s.

Tuesday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. against the Altoona Curve, gates open at 6:00 p.m.
• Karns Food Max Saver Tuesdays presented by Karns Foods. Buy 1 Ticket, Get 1 Free from Karns with purchase. Maximum purchase of 4 tickets. Bring your Karns receipt to a Tuesday Senators home game for a steal of a deal! Valid only for reserved, box, field box and dugout box seats.

Wednesday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. against the Altoona Curve, gates open 6:00 p.m.
• Join us for the last game of the opening homestand.

You can purchase tickets on game days 10:00 a.m. until the end of the game, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the end of the game. Box office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours. Tickets are also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, online at www.senatorsbaseball.com.
