GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers won the Midwest League's Western Division title in the first half to claim their first playoff spot in a long time.  The Rattlers will host their first home playoff game at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium since 2005 on Thursday, September 6 at 6:35pm.

Ticket prices for the playoffs remain the same for the regular season:  Box seats ($10), Reserved bleacher seats ($8), and Grass seats ($5).  Patio tables (Seating four - $60) and All-You-Can-Eat Seats (Including a picnic - $25) are the same price as the regular season, too.

The opponent for the first round series isn't known yet.  What is known is that the Timber Rattlers will have their popular Bang for Your Buck promotion during every home game of the 2012 playoffs.  Bang for Your Buck includes soda, hot dogs, and beer for $1.

Midwest League rules, 2012 regular season ticket vouchers, rain checks, and other exchangeable regular season tickets are not valid for playoff games.

Tickets are also available in a special package that allows fans to secure the same seat to all six possible home playoff games at a discounted rate. Individuals purchasing the playoff ticket package will also be able to purchase the exclusive Timber Rattlers playoff t-shirt at a reduced price.

Groups of 20 or more may purchase tickets to the playoff game on September 6 right now at the group discount rate of $1.00 off by contacting the Timber Rattlers Box Office and asking for the group ticket department.

The six possible home games for the Timber Rattlers for the 2012 post season are: Games two and three of the first round; Games two and three of the Western Division Finals; and Games one and two of the Midwest League Championship Series.

Home field advantage for the Championship Series is determined on a rotational basis. The Eastern Division representative will have the home field advantage in the Finals this season.

Playoff tickets may be ordered by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152, stopping at the Timber Rattlers Box Office at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm or Saturdays from 10am to 3pm, or ordering online.

Wisconsin's next home game is Tuesday, July 31 when they host the Burlington Bees in the first game of a four game homestand.  The Timber Rattlers have 20 home games remaining in the regular season.  Tickets remain for each of those games and may be purchased in the same manner as the playoff tickets.
