GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
won the Midwest League's Western Division title in the first half to claim
their first playoff spot in a long time. The
Rattlers will host their first home playoff game at Time Warner Cable Field at
Fox Cities Stadium since 2005 on Thursday, September 6 at 6:35pm.
Ticket prices for the playoffs remain the same for the regular season:
Box seats ($10), Reserved bleacher seats ($8), and Grass seats ($5).
Patio tables (Seating four - $60) and All-You-Can-Eat Seats (Including a
picnic - $25) are the same price as the regular season, too.
The opponent for the first round series isn't
known yet. What is known is that the
Timber Rattlers will have their popular Bang for Your Buck promotion during
every home game of the 2012 playoffs. Bang
for Your Buck includes soda, hot dogs, and beer for $1.
Midwest League rules, 2012 regular season ticket vouchers, rain checks, and
other exchangeable regular season tickets are not valid for playoff games.
Tickets are also available in a special package
that allows fans to secure the same seat to all six possible home playoff games
at a discounted rate. Individuals purchasing the playoff ticket package will
also be able to purchase the exclusive Timber Rattlers playoff t-shirt at a
reduced price.
Groups
of 20 or more may purchase tickets to the playoff game on September 6 right now
at the group discount rate of $1.00 off by contacting the Timber Rattlers Box
Office and asking for the group ticket department.
The six possible home games for the Timber Rattlers for the 2012 post season
are: Games two and three of the first round; Games two and three of the Western
Division Finals; and Games one and two of the Midwest League Championship
Series.
Home
field advantage for the Championship Series is determined on a rotational basis.
The Eastern Division representative will have the home field advantage in the
Finals this season.
Wisconsin's next home game is Tuesday, July 31 when they host the Burlington Bees in the first game of a four game homestand. The Timber Rattlers have 20 home games remaining in the regular season. Tickets remain for each of those games and may be purchased in the same manner as the playoff tickets.
